Pretty sure it only affects the player itself. Any idea how I can possibly fix this?McBaal wrote: The most grey / dark face bugs result from ApachiiHair. Do not use the NPC overhauls.

Page 43 of 86 - Total Character Makeover - posted in File topics: May be you can mention that your mod is multilanguage, because it adds only texture and meshes, no other files containing foreign language text.

If you want new NPC looks use Bijin all in one (female characters only). They all work fine together. To prevent black face bug: Always install hair mods first. Then TCM, then other texture mods like body mods, then Bijin, or any custom npc mod that has its own hair, etc.Sort with LOOT.Be Happy. So basically I did the following, to have ApachiiHair, Total Character Makeover and Bijins:Did the following:0. Deinstall Bijins1.

Reinstall Apachiihair2. Install TCM, Beards - Yes To Mod, TRUE EYES - No To Mod, TRUE BROWS - Yes To Mod3. Reinstall UNP4. Reinstall Bijins (+ disable the Oldrim Bijins in Plugins list again)5. LOOT sortMore to it in my SSE modding guide here:stumped.i have the dark-face bug in my game and ive been able to ignore the occasional dark-faced vampire in my SSE playthru because i havent started dawnguard yet.yeah, i started the dawnguard storyline today, joined harkon and about half of the vampires in the keep are dark-faced. The majority of the bug-free NPCs are Named, so it makes sense that they wouldnt be effected, right? They probably have their own non-generic info coded into the game, which would be unchanged by TCM.but this is the thing.i actually.did.

Makeover

the uninstall / install routine Ponurymazepa recommended: i uninstalled all of the below mods and then re-installed them ( with NMM ) in the following order.1.0 apachii's hairs ( i use 1.5 and 1.6, both )2.0 TCM2.5 TCM Normal Vamp Faces3.0 UNP4.0 BJINS AIO ( with serana 1.5 ).and sorted with LOOT.fired up a new game to test it, used LAL to choose harkon's court aaand the same half of the vamps in the game have dark faces. No change.i did try uninstalling TCM Normal Vamp Faces, which reverted their klingon-esque face wrinkles, but they were still dark-faced.its happening ONLY with vampires. None of the other files overwritten by TCM seems to be making a difference anywhere else in the game.ideas?EDIT: and no, i dont have any other mods that modify either hair or vampires. Im a pretty dedicated in-game apachii-using vampire-hunter, lol.Edited by breakerfinn, 12 January 2017 - 07:59 AM. Sse Total Character Makeover Skyrim Special Edition

Im a pretty dedicated in-game apachii-using vampire-hunter, lol.I do not have this issue with vampires. I also did not install the Normal Vamp Faces.

What I would do if I were you, is completely removing all the listed mods, LOOT, making a new save, loading from it, checking if vamp faces are dark, then installing everything again without the vamp addon. At least that is what I would do. I have no in depth knowledge why it happens. I merely followed the instructions from rominvictus and maybe was lucky.
