I think its my turn to contribute.If you have something EXTREMELY expensive and you don't want to bother finding mudcrab or creeper (or they cant afford it), Just barter with an armorer/smith:1.
The highest I've ever seen a normal person's gold is 3,500 Gold.But, in Caldera there is a manor full of Orcs that has a Scamp init named Creeper. You can talk to Creeper and Barter with him. Hebuys Armor and Weapons, and many other things and has 5,000 Gold toBarter with.
If you're looking for someone with even more money youneed to find the Mudcrab Merchant. He's on an island in in theAzura's Coast Region, but is pretty hard to find.

His island isbeside an island that has a Dwemer Ruin on it (the Dwemer Ruin'sname starts with an M, but I can't recall the name). Also, the cityVivec is to the West. He's the only mudcrab on the island, but MAKESURE YOU DON'T KILL HIM. He doesn't respawn, so once he's deadyou'll never get him back. All you have to do is walk up to him andspeak to him (he's not hostile, so he won't attack you unless youattack him first). He has 10,000 Gold to Barter with and buysWeapons and Armor. However, he doesn't really buy as much asCreeper does, but he definitely has more money.If you're looking for someone with even more money there's anAshlander in the middle of nowhere that has 15,000 Gold to Barterwith.
Because he's in the middle of nowhere, I can't tell you hisexact location. But, if you go looking for him make sure you'vebeen named Nervarine of every Ashlander Tribe because if you're notthe Nervarine according to the Ashlander Tribes, all Ashlanderswill attack you, and the guy doesn't respawn.-An easy one to get to: Zinnab camp i beleive. There is a traderwith 8000 drakes. You can sell to him your expencive weps for hismax price and just rest for 24 hours to reset it.I had stockpiled draetic weapons and things in claudius's houseafter doing alot of things, and eventualy sold it.
